Blog of the Week 10
It's time again to highlight a fellow blogger. I learned about her quite early on, when I first started blogging and I've been following her blog ever since. She's a fantastic writer!

This blogger is the mother of five. Her youngest son became a part of their family through domestic adoption. This blogger is a busy woman. She's a faith-filled Mommy, wife, professional photographer, and Adoption Coordinator, just to name a few of the hats she wears. And, she's the creator of on of my favorite exchanges, Treasure Tuesdays!

Without any further ado, my chosen Blog of the Week is Faithful Mommy. I do hope you'll take the time to read Faith's responses to my questions, and then go check out her Family-Friendly blog today. Please leave her a comment, letting her know I've sent you!

BOTW Q&A

Q: What inspired you to start blogging?

A: I saw some blog sites listed in my adoptive families magazine and when I visited those sights, I was just drawn to it. At first, I didn't see many Christian sights either and I felt like I wanted to share my Faith.

Q: What’s the meaning behind your blog name?

A: My blog name is a take off of my own name - Faith and the fact that I am indeed a mommy. I was in a rush to get started - that's my nature, so it was the best I could come up with on short notice.

Q: What are some of the major themes of your blog?

A: Domestic adoption is a theme that I go with a lot. It is close to my heart. Especially African American and Bi-racial adoption. I also talk about very random things, mostly because that is my life - random!!

Q: Do you have any "Real Life People" reading your blog?

A: I do have real life people that read my blog. My hubby and my grown children read it often. It sure keeps me honest!! It has been interesting to see my family's reaction to the things I write! I think they are happy with it and happy to see me enjoying it so much.

Q: What else would you like your readers to know about you, that they may not already?

A: After that 100 things post, I can't imagine that there is anything that my readers don't already know. I was "absent" from blogging for a few weeks, and it just about killed me. I didn't know what was going on with my blog friends and I missed posting in a bad way. When I got started back, I really realized how much I enjoy blogging. It is an outlet for me and my blog friends mean so much to me, it is good to be back! I've even started a new blog (it only has one post right now) that is concerning adoption as it's primary focus. That site is http://faithfulmommy.typepad.com/child_of_mine/.

That is one thing that nobody knows - this is the first time I've mentioned it!!

I really enjoy FaithfulMommy as well! As a fellow adoptive parent I'm excited to read she has a new blog about adoption. I write about adoption as well but usually just include it in my regular blog. LOL!!! I can only keep up with one!

BTW...Hi...Faith wrote about this on her blog and that led me here. I'll be back!
