Thank goodness for iChat!

Snuggle Bug and I say our night time prayers together through iChat and he tells me about his day.
Oronzo's been great these past couple of days in sending me pictures and even a video of Snuggle Bug and Boo playing nicely together.
What did we do before all this neat technology came about? I'm feeling spoiled by it all! :)
So, do any of you do these things when you're apart or do you just pick up the phone and call or write letters? Does anyone write real letters anymore?

Yes technology is a huge plus these days.
My 7 year old is pen-paling with our 7 year old cousin she met for the 1st time this summer. On real paper no less ;-) it will be good for the beginning writers they are.
I wrote letters to mu Aunt well into my teens, I'm now in my 30's. I won't do the math.
Ive never heard of ichat. Sounds pretty cool. Ive never really been away from my kids more than a day, and we usually just pick up the phone(except when they girls went to camp...forgot about that, then we communicated through regular mail).
I recieved your book in the mail yesterday, thank you so much, My girls(and son) loved looking through it.
I hope your trip is going well.
last summer when i was in canada with the kids for 2 months, tim and i would chat on yahoo w/ webcam for hours each night. each with a glass of wine like a little date!
My boyfriend and I are long distance (he's in England, I'm in Canada) so Skype is a great invention! We used to use MSN video chat, but then I got a Mac, which doesn't support that, and he has a PC which doesn't support iChat... so if you're ever in that predicament: Skype!
I'm glad you're able to see Snuggle Bug and Boo while you're gone...they probably think it's pretty neat too :)
We've heard of Skype to use while Joe is deployed next year; will also have to check out this ichat.
