Snow Day
In an effort to boost my spirits, yesterday I drove to the top of a nearby mountain and played with kids in the snow.
Snuggle Bug and Boo had a wonderful time throwing snowballs, catching snowflakes with their tongues, and making snow angels. It was beautiful and peaceful up there on the mountain. It was exactly what I needed to clear my head and to reconnect with God and nature.
Thank you all who have left supportive comments in my previous post. The prayers and encouragement from family and friends (online and in person) are what keep us going.
I'll update when I can.

I feel sick to my stomach after reading your previous post. I am so so sorry for your pain. I will be praying you find a judge that actually has a brain in his head to hear this case and make Boo a permanent and legal part of your family. I am outraged at the ridiculousness of the situation you find yourself in. My heart goes out to your entire family.
Blessings,
Julie
Im so glad to hear you had a great time in the snow. WE all need to take a break from the crazy stuff in life, and remember the moment we live in now.
Praying for you and for Gods hand to hold you up.
Happy New Year!
I'm praying for you ! This should not be happening! There is something dreadfully wrong with a supposedly "child centered " system that would allow this child to be uprooted from your loving home to stand-by in another state with strangers while he mom tries to get her act together. Fight it as hard as you can.You will be provided for.....
You are in my thoughts and prayers.. I hope that the New Year brings you answers to your prayers.. God Bless you and your family..
You always come up with great stuff I just love your site you are very talented I’ll recommend your site to my friends and family members great job very appreciated..keep it up..
Just want you to know you're in my prayers. The previous post almost broke my heart.
Keeping you very much in my prayers and spreading the word for more prayer. This all just seems so insane but I know God is in control. Hugs to you.
You all are in my prayers as you go through this difficult time.
How are you doing? How are things coming along? My thoughts and prayers are with you!
Your blog was on my fav's and I haven't been by in a looong time. I hope that since you haven't written in a while that things are well. I read the earlier post about the legal struggles. I am praying for your family and for Boo. I totall understand your situation. I work with teenagers that are in similar situations as Boo and there isn't much help for them. In many cases they are forced back into homes and environments just as you have descirbed. It is so sad. I am glad that Boo has your family. I know God is faithful. I am praying that your fundraising efforts help your situation.
Praying for you.
Sherry

Your blog has been very uplifting for me and I have enjoyed reading it very much. Playing in the snow is always a good way to get away from everything else - and it sounds like you and the kids had a great time. Thank you for the smiles you have given me today after reading. Feel free to visit my blog at http://www.pcactiongames.net/ :)
How are you doing? I am continuing to pray for you -- hugs :)
This is such a long and exhausting process. Here's hoping for some more happy times.
