I'm going home to my beloved boys!

I'm flying home to my family and I couldn't be happier! I can't wait to hold Snuggle Bug in my arms once again and shower him with kisses and to get a hug from my husband!
Oronzo tells me that Snuggle Bug has had a rough time with my absence. He's asked after me each day and sobbed desperately when he's been dropped off at daycare.
When I get home, I'm going to pick Snuggle Bug up from daycare and we're spending the rest of the day together, just him and I, until Oronzo gets home from work! I'm looking forward to time with my precious son!
This trip to FL wasn't all that grand. Work proved to be filled with long hours and frustrating equipment failures. It rained nearly all the time. The 'alone' time that I was looking forward to proved to be filled with longing to be with my boys back at home. I've missed them.
It'll be good to be home once again!

Ahhh. The elusive and craved time alone doesn't always turn out to be as wonderful as we thought it would be.

Awwww.... I so understand how you feel. I often feel homesick when I am away. You have a fabulous weekend with your precious family.

It always frustrating when work trips don't go as expected. I always look forward to some alone time and then end up going out to dinner and all kids of other things w/ coworkers.

Thanks for visiting me even though I didn't post a recipe yesterday- I now look forward to favorite ingredient fridays (thank you ;), but had a crazy day and was at my parents house with none of my recipes! I will be back next week for sure (and I'll visit in between as well :)....

Isn't it amazing, how we mothers long for alone time (for so many reasons) and when we get it, it often is filled with longing for our kids?
