Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows
I've done it. I've just finished the final book, Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows, thanks to Oronzo kindly keeping Snuggle Bug entertained for me.
All I'm going to say is that the book made me sob like a baby!
Has anyone else finished the book yet? I would really love to discuss it with any of you when you're done? Please, feel free to email me!

Oh, I so want to know how it ends, but yet I don't want that to be "the end". Do you know what I mean? I'm sad it's the last book, so I'm not in any hurry :)
I read it on Saturday and was weepy too!
I received my book in the mail on Sat. My plan was to read it right away but that didn't happen so I am eagerly awaiting putting the family to bed tonight and staying up to read it! I can't wait!!
Got mine at midnight at Wal_Mart. Finished it at 1:30ish a.m.
Did feed family and will be finding kitchen and laundry tomorrow/today. When I quit sobbing. Geez-- I am a sap.
This was much better than I had hoped for.
Yes I am re-reading them again. And most likely again.
Ack! There is one bookstore in town and they are out. Off to price them online.
I bought mine today. Actually, I'll give it to Krissy since she has the whole set. But she'll let me borrow it. :-)
I'm probably the only one out there who is not a Harry Potter fan. No reason - just haven't gotten into that series. But, enjoy the book and relax! (BTW, I forgot to post my recipe yesterday and plan to add it even though it's late!)
I'm with April...not a fan but I hope you all enjoy it!
Hello There, She's Baaaahaack!
I bought myself a copy yesterday as well. (There was still a huge stack of copies available and this was at something like 14.00 hrs.)
We are in the midst of last minute baby preparations but am trying to get as much reading (both blogs and book) done in the meantime as well! Am having a hard time not reading the last few pages first as well! But I. Will. Not. Give. In!
Love and light,
Mieneke
I just finished the book a couple of hours ago. Wow!
I received my copy in the mail. Sadly we have been unpacking and settling in today so no reading for me yet. I hope to tackle it next week.
I so want to read the series from start to finish soon too.
I had to laugh at your reading the end and then go back to the beginning comment. That is exactly what I did. I read the last two chapters then started at the beginning...LOL. I just can't wait! Enjoy the book!
Ooooh I'm super jealous. I have my copy just haven't had the time to read since we have company right now, when my company is gone we are heading off to my home town for a week and a half. It's driving me bonkers LOL.
When I'm done i will so be e-mailing you ;-)
I've got the book but I'm right in the middle of the newest Jane Green book and can't put it down. So I'm not even reading the comments here for fear someone will tell me what happens to Harry.
I'm reading Jane as fast as I can, I'm so anxious to read this HP book. I must say, the fact that you sobbed has my curiosity WAY up. LOL
I was in line at midnight to pick up the prepaid copy. I started reading at 2 am and (with a few long breaks for sleeping and a football game) I finished at the next 2 am.
I was depressed with who died, and how... but I see how she worked it into the story.
My friend and I are going to discuss it a lot over the next few weeks. I laughed, I cried, and I loved it all!
I've got a Harry Potter and the Favorite Moments meme going on at My Bookshelf...come check it out!!
My daughter bought me the book, yet I have not read it yet. I want to read it when Iam not so busy, however my 16 year old son has read it twice and he cried too!! He said mom this has been in my life sense 3rd grade LOL!!!
