WFMW (Fun & Creative Labels)
Before I share my WFMW tip, I'd like to invite you all to join me this Friday for my Healthy Eating Edition of my Favorite Ingredients Friday recipe exchange! Please help spread the word!
Now, it's time once again to post another WFMW tip.
Never purchase address labels again!
When sending packages/cards in the mail to family or friends use Microsoft Word's label tool to make your own customized labels!
1. Create a new label document based on the style of labels you're using (we use Avery # 5161 or # 5163 a lot). Click on each picture to enlarge for more details!
2. Insert your chosen image (from the file you've saved it in) onto a label (resize it to fit) and type the name/address beside it using a text box.
My family and friends get a big kick out of my customized labels and it ends up being much cheaper than purchasing labels online!
So, creating my own custom labels works for me, maybe it'll work for you. To see what works for others, be sure to check out the other links at Shannon's, the creator of Works-For-Me Wednesday!

Found your site through Shannon's-- love your pictures!
You and I must be separated at birth because I LOVE making labels like that too. Its way too much fun!
I get myself a package of blank address labels and use an art program to make them up when I need them. It is so much fun to be able to change fonts or put a different picture on them. My most recent ones have a picture of my baby ferret, Rocky, on them. Probably makes the addressees wonder! Besides, if you gotta pay bills...you might as well have a little fun doing it, LOL!
This is absolutely great! I love giving address labels as a housewarming gift, and can do this right from my computer. Perfect! Thanks. xoxo
