Check this out!
I have a few items of "business" to mention. Click on the images to enlarge.

1) This coming Friday's theme for my Favorite Ingredients Friday recipe exchange will be Healthy Eating. I'm really hoping to get some good recipes from this exchange, seeing how my cholesterol levels are in the "high risk" area (more on that later)! Feel free to grab the button I've designed and help spread the word. Thanks in advance!

2) Yesterday I went and checked my post office box and found a Barb's lovely gift waiting inside. Can I just say, "Wow!" Barb, you are amazing. I love the sleek look of this packet of recipe cards...the silver and pink ribbons, the embossed silver "V", the bordered recipe cards on pretty pink cardstock. You are quite talented, my friend! I'm so glad that I was one of your winners. Thank you so much for all the wonderful recipes! You know me, I do love collecting recipes!

3) I am truly amazed at the wonderful response I'm getting thus far from the launching of my Pay It Forward book exchange! I think the part I love the most is that others are joining in and hosting their own "Pay It Forward" book exchanges. Thanks everyone! If you haven't yet entered to win my book giveaway, please stop by before end of the day Friday to do so. And while you're there, check out the other blogger book giveaways that I've linked within my post.

3) Okay, this isn't really business. I just had to show you all these cute Sesame Street overalls that I pulled out of Snuggle Bug's closet yesterday. They still had the tags on them. I have no idea where we got them from (probably a gift) but they fit him perfectly and he loved wearing them! Elmo is one of his favorite characters. What was really cute was the reaction his overalls got from other kids when I took him to a library storytime. Other kids (same age or younger) would point at Snuggle Bug's overalls and say, "Elmo! Elmo!", clap their hands, and bounce up and down in glee. Apparently Snuggle Bug isn't the only Elmo fan out there.

That's all for now. Have a great Wednesday!

I love the overalls! We actually have on Cookie Monster today - and there is always a comment on the shirt when we go out in it! What's funny is that he used to call him 'cookie oshi', not Cookie Monster and he'd correct people when they'd say Cookie Monster to him. What looks we would get!

Hi OW! I found your website this weekend and read the whole thing! You've inspired me to start a second, public blog to share the adoption stories of my 2 sons, and to connect with other moms on their blogs.

I just wanted to stop by & introduce myself. Have a great day!

Oh good! You got your wedding favor. Thank you for your sweet compliment. These were fun to make and a very inexpensive alternative to expensive purchased wedding favors. And of course they're all pink and silver because this was meant to be a pink wedding. LOL

Those overalls are as cute as can be. Boy, he's really growing, OW. He's getting so big!

Clothing with Sesame Street characters is always a big hit in our house too! So why does it have to be so difficult to find them? Or when I do find them they are always sold out of the size we need.

Cute picture!!

Love the overalls. My 1-year old loves Elmo and, unlike my 4-year old, loves to wear overalls.

What fun, fun stuff! Seriously! =) I'm jealous of the recipe cards you got from Barb. You can tell a lot of work went into those wedding favors. And Snuggle Bug (sans face) looks adorable in those overalls!

Oh I love the overalls! Cookie would be so excited - she loves "Melmo" (as she calls him). Not a day goes by when we don't have to sit through a "Melmo" video - but secretly I think DH and I like them too. :)

The overalls are so cute, Jillian loves Elmo. She will pick all the Elmo's out from her diaper pile 1st when I ask her to go get one LOL.

Found your blog over at BooMama & stopped in because Joy is my middle name.

I am also an adoptive mom. Look forward to reading your blog & story.

Hello,

I can't wait to contribute on Friday to your list of health recipes. I've been trying to pay a little more attention to what we are eating and have found lots of good recipes.

Take Care,

Trixie

OW, how are you? I haven't been around much. Sorry. I love your blog and I'm trying to catch up on all the new and exciting things happening over here.

Congrats on winning the recipe cards!!! They're gorgeous!

Love the book idea. Will participate next time. lol

The overalls are incredibly cute!

I'm hoping to get back to participating in FIF. Maybe I'll get a chance tomorrow.

Hugs,
Eden
