Kettle Corn
Ingredients:
1/2 cup unpopped popcorn kernels
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Directions:
Place the popcorn and sugar in a large pot with vegetable oil. Over a medium heat, begin to pop the popcorn. Constantly shake the pot to ensure that the popcorn kernels and oil do not burn. Once the popping has slowed, remove the pot from heat.
Note: White sugar makes the Kettle Corn taste like popcorn balls. Use brown sugar and it will taste like caramel corn.
Now, I look forward to seeing your Favorite Ingredients Fridayrecipe!

YUM - I've never made kettle corn at home, but sure do like it - I'll give it whirl tonight!
Hi! I've made fried rice a few times and it's turned out well every time except for the time that I got some oven cleaner in it . . .
The recipe that I have calls for COLD cooked rice, and it is adamant. I've heard that that's the key.
I usually just use my sauce on veggies and meat and serve over steamed rice, though; it's less trouble.
oooooo Kettle Corn is one of my faves, but I never thought to make it myself! I'll have to try this one. Now I'm craving it! lol
Thanks for stoppin' by! I'm glad you did because you have a great blog here...I'll have to visit often!

Kettle corn, yum! I guess I should have waited until next week for my recipe. I really need to pay attention.
yummm!! My husband loves kettle corn! I will definitely have to surprise him with this treat!! Thanks for stopping by! Hope to see you again soon:)
Thank you for your comment. I am enjoying reading through your blog. We have a lot in common. My girls are adopted! I'm sorry you had to return baby bug and that you don't get to see her. I'll be praying they do keep their word and send yall the invite. HOpe you have a wonderful weekend!
I have to disagree with the kettle corn made with white sugar tasting like popcorn balls. You need to cook the sugar at a high temp. and basically caramelize it. It's tricky to do on a stove since you MUST be mixing and stirring it every second it's on the heat.
MmmMM Kettlecorn.. Thanks for the recipe..
I'll join in this week. I didn't have a chance last week..
