Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July everyone!

I don't know about you, but I plan on enjoying this day off! We're having about 15 friends (plus a small gaggle of children) coming over at 5 p.m. for a BBQ/pool party so we're doing a bit of shopping, cooking, and cleaning today before their arrival. I know we'll have a good time!

So, what are your 4th of July plans?

Happy 4th of July!

We are also gathering at our house today. My sis and her hubby are driving in from Alabama in a few hours, Mom and Dad went to get my bro from the airport, and the rest of us will be getting the house ready for some fun, food, and fireworks later on! Should be a blast (literally!)! =)

We're spending the day cleaning and packing so we can get out the door this weekend for the annual trek to the county fair near the grandparents.

But the boys will use the pool, there will be watermelon, my sister visiting briefly and the neigborhood will look like WWIII after dark with all the fireworks.

Have a fun day!

Happy 4th of July to you!
Your plans sounds like fun.
It rained all day, adn still is. We took the kids to the movies(regal has free older movies in the summer for kids). so we saw Robots. We had a picnic dinner, just the 6 of us. it was nice. Now we are debating whether or not we want to see fireworks, while sitting in our car, thanks to the rain.

We hit the annual Boy Scout pancake breakfast and then stuck around home for most of the day. My husband grilled meat and the boys went to bed early missing the fireworks. Hope you had a fun BBQ.

A day late, but never the less, I spent the day with the family at my inlaws lake house and then headed home (by myself!) to work the remainder of the week. Left the kiddos with hubby and have my own mini vacation at a quiet house!
