Five Ingredient Friday (Tuna & Noodle Casserole)
It's time again for my Five Ingredients Friday recipe exchange! Thank you all who participate on a regular basis.
My Five Ingredients Friday recipe this week is a dish that my mom used to make for us when we were kids. It's nothing gourmet, but we all loved it.
Every Tuesday evening, Oronzo goes out to play tennis with a couple of friends and then they go out for dinner. Oronzo gets a night out and I get a night of having Snuggle Bug all to myself. It's a win win situation.
So, this past Tuesday evening I was craving the dish I'm about to post. I made it for Snuggle Bug and myself and we both enjoyed it! If you make it, I hope you enjoy it too!
Tuna & Noodle Casserole
Ingredients:
package of egg noodles
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup of milk
3 Tbsp of mayo
1 can tuna
Preparation:
Cook the noodles.
In a glass casserole bowl, mix can of soup, milk, mayo, & tuna.
Add egg noodles into the casserole bowl.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Optional additions: sprinkle on the top a handful of crushed potato chips and/or shredded cheese and bake for 5-10 minutes more.
I suppose you could also add peas to this recipe, but I despise peas so I never do. :)
I look forward to seeing your Five Ingredients Friday recipe! Don't forget to link your blog on this post so I can see what's cooking at your house!

Ok, I get it now.Duh! Sorry for all the comments. Please delete them for me. My recipe is on my blog now with a link back to yours. It took me a couple of times to figure out what I was doing lol. Sorry!
this sounds sooo yummy! i will bake your tuna casserole for sunday evening's dinner :) thanks for sharing!
Around here we call it glop and the kids love it.
I serve peas on the side because my family is split. I hate peas in it and so does Rebecca. The rest don't care. If they want their peas mixed, they can do it themselves.
You hate peas? The greatest and best of the vegetables? Remind me not to make you my green pea soup if you ever drop by!
I'll be posting my recipe later on my NEW RECIPE BLOG! Oooh! Exciting!
Funny you should post this. I was so hungry for this the other night and called my mom to get the recipe. Yummy.
I love making Tuna Casserole. It is a favorite. I hope I added my http in correct..if I didnt please let me know what I'm doing wrong. Hope you enjoy my recipe.

I'm not a tuna fan but the recipe would be loved by my husband. Whe I'm feeling especially sweet, I should make it for him:)
Whew! I originally planned to post my family's favorite tuna casserole recipe. Mine's very different so it's nice to have a new version to try. We all like white albacore tuna and pasta so this combination sound good.
I love this dish! But I've never put Mayo in it before! I will have to try that!
My hubby said he was in the mood for some but instead of tuna, meat and cheese macaroni in the oven. I better start exercising now to get my metabolism going - not. Thanks for the recipe, I'll try it sometime!
That sounds very quick and easy! I may have to try that, I'm not a big tuna fan but you never know :)
That recipe reminds me of food from my childhood. I think I'll make it soon.
Thanks for the reminder.
Sorry - clicked the wrong spot so it appears I have a recipe - not so. But did want to add to yours - those french friend onions you put on green bean casserole at Thanksgiving are oh so good on tuna casserole and if you or your children dont like peas (many dont) try adding a can of corn, drained. Most kids like this.
Oh... why did I have to look at this post when it's past my supper time and I've been out in the sun all afternoon and I'm STARVING and it looks so good!
Thanks for dropping by "To Love, Honor and Dismay" and leaving such a nice comment!
Well, I just did my first Mister Linky. I hope I did it right. Your tuna casserole recipe is the one I use as a basic recipe. It was taught to me in 8th grade Home Ec class. I'll vary things now and then, but usually go back to the classic, with peas. :o) It's one of my husband's favorites.
this actually looks really good, and I am not a big fan of casseroles. I will probably make this sometime this next week. Thanks for the recipe!
sorry I missed FIF yesterday...we were a little busy driving back from Albuquerque! And then too exhausted to afterwards! BTW - we went to the Coronado mall. I didn't find anything for myself, but we got Kayla's pics done at Kiddie Kandids!
