Five Ingredients Friday (Peach Banana Daiquiri)
It's been a long standing tradition with my girlfriends to get together every now and then for a "girl's night." Now that I have a family, I have to plan it well in advance and send Oronozo off somewhere and time it so that Snuggle Bug is already in bed. When the girls arrive we soak our feet in a warm scented salt bath, eat yummy junk food, paint our fingernails and toe nails, and talk about girl stuff. And of course, we have a drink or two to relax and unwind. You're really never to old for a girl's night, they're a lot of fun! I need to organize another one soon.
With that in mind, my Five Ingredients Friday recipe for this week is one of our favorite mixed drinks.
Peach Banana Daiquiri
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ounces Bacardi light rum
- 1/2 medium banana sliced
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup sliced peaches (fresh, frozen, or canned)
- 1 cup crushed ice
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend well.
- Garnish glass with peach or banana slice.
I look forward to seeing your Five Ingredients Friday recipe! Don't forget to link your blog on this post so I can see what's cooking at your house!
Oh, and be sure to put the title of your recipe in parenthesis! It makes it so much quicker for me to go back and search for recipes as I build my weekly menu.
Thanks so much for your participation! I do appreciate it!

Yay! I participated! :)
Those daiquiris sound great. My recipe would work on a girls' night, too.
We must have woke up this morning thinking the same thing since I did a drink recipe too. I love Peachs...so I will NEED to make this one. Happy Friday.

Yummy! I will have to give that a try.
Ohh, YUMMY! I just about posted a recipe for a cocktail this week too, great minds must think alike! I decided to go a different direction though ;) I may have to post it next week! Thanks for sharing this, I've got to try it out at my next girls night. =)
This would be a fun treat for a luau!
This drink sounds perfect for a spa party that I'm having next month.
Yummy. I'll drop the rum (don't drink) and try that for sure. Sorry that I don't have anything to post this week. I'll try for next week.
Tasty!!! I will make this for a scrapbooking weekend we are having at the lake in a few weeks!!
Those sound incredible!! I have another 5 months to go before I can indulge in something like that but I will definitely earmark that one for future use!!
The banana daquiri sounds so soothing and refreshing!
I'm sure it will work for fish.. I never thought of that! I don't see why it wouldn't. You'll have to give me feedback if you try it out! =)
Here's one with three ingredients which I stole from my Australian friend Merle.

Do you think I could use that frozen Bacardi thing instead of the rum? If I did that I may want to reduce the lime juice. What do you think? Sounds delicious. And the girl's night out is a winning idea. Thanks.
That girls night out sounds like such a fun way to do it!! We usually go to dinner and a movie but I like you're idea better...soaking feet, painting nails and chatting and unwinding! Think I may steal it!
