Mark your calendars for Monday, Oct. 2nd!

If you're looking for the post that has the actual list of shared recipes, please click here.

Many of you know that I'm addicted to collecting recipes, which is why I host a Five Ingredient Friday recipe exchange without fail each week. Thank you to those of you who participate!

As the holiday season draws near, I thought it might be fun to host a holiday specific recipe exchange called Holiday Cooking, Blogger Style! Don't worry, these don't have to be just 5 ingredients they can be as long as you'd like. I don't mind the extra time and effort in the kitchen during the holidays, I just ask that they are tried and true recipes.

I want to give those of you that are interested time to go through your recipes and pick out your favorites so here's what I propose, on Monday, October 2nd, I will post the specific instructions for this holiday recipe exchange as well as my favorite holiday recipe and then open up Mr. Linky so that those interested in participating can be listed in one central location.

If you plan on joining in, and I sincerely hope you do, feel free to grab the graphic above for your actual post or leave me your email in the comments and I'll send you the button code to make it easier for you to use on your sidebar.

I'd be most appreciative if you would be so kind as to help me spread the word.

Thank you so much! I can't wait to see some scrumptious holiday recipes!

OW, what a wonderful idea! It is so nice to get new holiday recipes. I always host a holiday cookie exchange, where everyone brings 3 dozen cookies or so, and we walk around a table distributing the cookies in each guest's tupperware container ~ great fun! Send me the code, as well.

Excellent idea! As you know, my family are very picky eaters, but I am deadset on making a feast for Christmas when my parents are over. I now know where to come for inspiration!

Count me in and send me the code, please. Are we limited to only 1 recipe, or can we post several?? I'll be thinking about what to share for this one. :-) I love cooking and baking for the holidays. :-)

Thanks to all of you, thus far, that are expressing an interest. I'll email code out soon.

Diane, you are not limited to only 1 recipe. You can post several, within the same post or individual posts, whichever way you choose. The more recipes, the better. :)

Overwhelmed, I got your email and wanted to get back to you. I so apologize that I wont be able to do this. We leave for Colorado the end of Sept. and I will be on the road for most of the day, traveling to spend time with my 94 old MIL. It's oh so doubtful her asst living has wireless. I will come back and enjoy making some of these wonderful treasures once I'm back in my own kitchen. Hate that I have to miss it.
